West Prien road work
 
WEST PRIEN LAKE RD. (LA 1138-2) & HOLLY HILL RD. IMPROVEMENTS

Road Work beginning Monday, September 23, 2013

• Intersection widening to begin Monday, September 23, 2013. Westbound traffic on West Prien Lake will be restricted to local businesses only Monday (September 23, 2013) through Friday (September 27, 2013) between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M traffic can detour via I-210 Westbound to Nelson Road.

• Work is to provide a dedicated left turn lane onto Holly Hill Rd. for traffic westbound on West Prien Lake Rd. Traffic will be reduced to one lane during the next three weeks with alternating eastbound and westbound lane closures. Use alternate routes to avoid delays.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.

They started widing the road a while back, starting at the light on Nelson rd by the Walmart and going west.

I take the "Over" on this one, multiply 3 x 8 and figure atleast 24 wks (6 months) for completion.:pissed:
