Any one else get drawn? Emails went out about an hour ago. We put in for the Dec 14 - 15 hunt.

We will be staying at Hunter's Bend Campground.

Got mine also around 5:30. We'll be there for the thanksgiving weekend. I might head up there for the doe day on the 23rd. Anyone going for the doe day?

This is the first year that I didn't get picked!

How has that hunt been the last couple of years. A few years back it really wasn't that great - not like it was years ago.

Slooooow. Not like it used to be

The past couple of years there have been some nationally recogonized deer killed in Tensas. Last year for the thanksgiving weekend lottery we saw some Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, and even Missouri liscense plates on trucks. I can only imagine the number of people puttin in for these lotteries. My dad has been getting picked since before I could remember and I killed my first deer there when I was 11. I'm now 29 and we have always been picked for the thanksgiving weekend. One year we got picked for both hunts because not enough people entered. But like everyone has been saying it's definitely not like it use to be, all they seem to care about now is the bears.

Tell Kenny I said hey. I haven't been up there in about 5 years or so. It's been to long maybe some late season bow hunting in the rut this season.
