Government shutdown

Looks like our leaders have blinked and are begging Obama for something in return. Obama is not willing to negotiate at all right now yet 53 percent of the people blame the republicans. At the end of the day republicans will loose even more seats over this, the future for the republicans is not bright, that's my take and it's very discouraging. I wish we would have stood our ground.

Yep. Always gonna blame someone else. And the sheeple will follow.

southern151 10-11-2013 07:43 AM

Even more screwed after this than before. Obummer will look like a knight in shining armor behind this deal to the foolish...Unfortunately, our country is full of foolish.

That said, I read where nearly 70% of the people polled think that all of Congress should be fired. There may be some small glimmer of hope.

And yet the sheeple will run to the polls in flocks to vote the same incompetent fools back in office that they complain about. Or even worse, not even vote.

The problem I see is the folks that will replace them will all be democrats, more power for the socialist.

Montauk17 10-11-2013 09:05 AM

IMO it won't get any better till we force them all out of office and start over.

Top Dawg 10-11-2013 09:10 AM

We the people need to start takin back what is ours. Need to show up at the refug in a big group and start cuttin locks. They're takin money out of our checks we should be able to use what is ours.

Yes, with an approximate 27% approval rating for republicans right now, the outlook is grim.

I'm soooo glad to be getting taxed to pieces so that others can have what I work for!:shaking::pissed:

You must be mistaken. The money that is taken out of our checks is not for our refuges. It is for entitelments for those who vote for a living. And sad to say all of these people vote Democrat. The Republican party all but died once entitlement recipients made up nearly 50% of the American population. For those of you waiting for the country to turn around, you will be disappointed. It is too late. "We the people" have allowed it to go too far. We have stood by while the government slowly stripped us of our liberties. Force will be the only way to get it back, and that not even an option with the masses too entranced in their Miley Cyrus and fantasy football leagues to recognize this country is a far cry from what our founding father's intended it to be.

Top Dawg 10-11-2013 09:37 AM

Well ill go down alone then. Because I WILL use my land.

Matt G 10-11-2013 09:55 AM

I commend you and any others who use OUR resources despite the shutdown. As futile as that fight might seem, it is still a show to the gov't that we have had enough. Small battles first.

We are certainly headed down a bad road. I do not think we are going to recover from this.

However it is quite funny to me to read all of the comments flowing around from the Obamacare folks who are all up in arms that they actually still have to pay for insurance even under that program. I can not believe how much of the population believes the government is suppose to just give them everything they need with absolutely no consideration to where the money to fund all of those programs comes from.

^^^^THIS^^^^
MANY people believe obamacare is "FREE insurance""...It will take awhile to come full circle but in the end, it will piss off alot of folks that put him as well as many of the democrats in office.."They" have no idea that they will be forced to pay for insurance and will not like them there apples atall..

Spunt Drag 10-11-2013 11:22 AM

The debt ceiling and the reckless spending by this government is downright immoral.

LOL!!!

duckman1911 10-11-2013 11:53 AM

I think Margeret Thatcher said it best when she said "The problem with socialism is eventually you run out of other peoples money."

duckman1911 10-11-2013 12:06 PM

The problem with reblican leadership is the fact that there isnt any. Ole John and Mitch are about as useless as tits on a boar hog. Just some good ole boys gaming the system.

southern151 10-11-2013 12:07 PM

And, it looks as though the GOP caved to the bum. Worthless.
