http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/g...psb1a9852a.jpg http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/g...ps3b7b95c1.jpg Grant Dozar (groom), 'The...Austin Nola', Ben Boudreaux, and Austin Adams joined me today on a trout slam. Grant is tying the knot tomorrow, so the guys wanted to get a good trip in before the wedding. Our first stop at daybreak had the trout stacked so thick they were jumping out the water chasing shrimp. It was 'On' every cast two at a time when the baits hit the water. In no time , by 7:15 am we had the big K2 full, as the fish could not resist our Matrix Shad. The bite was over in a blink of an eye once the tide slowed down. We made a quick move to the North to check another area but came up empty handed. Turned the boat South bound and found birds diving all over the place. We bypassed the birds to hit the reefs and picked away at a few more fish. We called it a day to head back to the lodge before noon, so the guys could get ready for their rehearsal dinner. Good times and lots of excitement with the guys, as it was a incredible day. No live bait needed down on the Du. Double rigged Matrix Shad, or Endura shrimp under a cork is all you need in the boat!!! Thanks again guys. The trout are biting folks, limited dates available so give me a call to get in on the action. Capt Marty LaCoste 985 856 4477 www.absolutefishingcharters.com |
