Got on a school this morning early and chased em around for 4 hours had a limit of trout by 8 and then played catch and release for a few more hours. Caught specks, large reds, Spanish, blue fish, gaff tops, and a few jacks all in the same school all on top. Should be about 6 spooks floating out in the lake somewhere I'm sure the Spanish shook em off by now.Attachment 57481

What bait would you use to catch those, Spanish is one of the fish I want to knock out of my too catch list.

Spanish are great! I always threw them back. Then I brought a friend and he wanted to keep them. He cooked fried them up and they were Damn good! I don't throw Spanish back anymore!

If you want to target them, use a spoon and work it pretty fast. Make sure to have a wire leader. They'll eat regular spec baits as well.
