Goretex Renewer

Hey fellas, recently I've been noticing my goretex rain jacket starting to soak in the water. I'm not getting wet, but the water isn't beading off of it like it used to. I know it is supposed to have a DWR coating, but I'm pretty sure that coating has worn off. What do you guys do to restore the coating or reapply this coating?

might try some scotchgaurd.

That stuff is sweeet!! Looks like it kind of leaves a colored coating though.

Just bought some at Home Depot. $20. It's a 2 part system. One "set" will do one jacket. Only drawback is that it leaves a white, hazy film on the jacket when dried. Stuff is awesome! It's like wax on a vehicle. Water beads off. Gonna eventually have to reapply, but it's cheaper than buying a $300 jacket every other year.
