Duck cleaners?

Does anyone know if there is a duck cleaner in Johnson Bayou or Hackberry?

Used to be one on Ben Wright Rd. in Hackberry. Road just north of Dugas Landing. Trailer on north side of road not far off Hwy 27.

It's still there but bring a bunch of cash they charge over $3 per duck. The last time I went there I want to say it was $3.50 per duck.

$3.50 per seems very reasonable to me for plucking, gutting and packaging. Likely the cheapest thing on the hunt.

Better than the $5.00 per bird price in lake Charles.

My buddy said he may do it in laffy. 3$/duck if he does

Lake Charles duck cleaners are expensive!! Mike Wright in Hackberry (directions described above) is very reasonable. And I find his birds are taken care of a little better than others in the SW LA area.

As you head north on 27 coming into Hackberry, either the first or second road to the right, is a cleaner. Small shack next to a pop up camper. He is who we use when we hunt Holly Beach Marsh. Not sure on price but a bare bones operation like his has to have competitive rates.
