Had a trip yesterday. Got in a good trip before the weather takes over. Had the boat on the trailer at 9:45. Guys had a long trip back, and wanted to be in early. Just got in from Buras and the water is coming up. Went and saved a buddies boat at the marina before the water got to high. Duck season fixin to start and a stupid hurricanes coming. Oh well, will be back fishing here in a few days. All fish were caught on Marsh Works Bayou Thumpers in the croakain and purple thing colors.

LOL!!! Wait I thought we were in the trust tree?????

Capt. Matt Caire 11-10-2009 12:50 AM

Dink u got it. Just remind me first of the year when i get my new calendar. Marsh Works baits are made by Chris Morse in Hattiesburg. They are a cockhoe style bait with a big paddle tail. Work pretty good. They have a few differnet things like bigger soft plastics and spinnerbaits for redfish, and corks etc. Look them up www.marsh-works.com

Chris Havoc 11-10-2009 09:12 AM

Those plastics look sweet...do you know if he has a store here in the burg capt matt, or do you have to order online.

Capt. Matt Caire 11-10-2009 03:42 PM

Not sure if he has them in stores yet. Contact him off the site and see what he has to say. Tell him I sent u

SKnox 11-10-2009 04:50 PM

Just ordered an assortment. I will let yall know as soon as I can get on the water with them.

marshworks 11-10-2009 07:38 PM

Matt, you rock bro. Unfortunately, we're not in stores in LA yet and it's looking like Dec before my reps get there. SKnox, email me your t-shirt size, I'm throwing one in for you. chris@marsh-works.com.

Chris Havoc 11-10-2009 07:52 PM

I ordered a few myself, cant wait to try them out!

Chris Havoc 11-15-2009 05:13 PM

put those flounder pounders to work sat. morning and was very impressed with the action of the baits......they look just like a swimming fish in the water, and I caught 10 or so specs with one bait before a bull red destroyed it. I will be ordering more soon, thanks alot for the heads up on the new baits capn Matt!

marshworks 11-15-2009 09:54 PM

Right on Chris!! Keep 'em bent man.
