Boy's First Deer 11/2
1 Attachment(s)
My 8 year old dropped his first deer, and it happened to have some horns on it!
He smoked him straight through the heart w/ a 7-08, the deer staggered to the edge of the lane and collapsed.
Pic is taken the next morning, the day he killed it he had blood on his face and wouldn't take it off. Even went to a bingo fundraiser that night with the blood.

Could do a skull mount yourself. I think those look really cool. Congrats to your boy on his first deer. Its a fine one. 7-08s are deer slayers.

Very nice

So glad for him and you. As the memories are the best part of the hunt.
Props for getting him into the skinning end too. Every kid needs to experience the hunt from start to finished packaged venison.
