HELP! Fuel issues for outboard

We run 25hp mercury outboards on tunnel hulls. Seems we're having horror stories with water/trash in fuel. We only use ethanol free gas (Billy's in PI) but still have problems.
Do any of you use a fuel/water separator filter on your fuel lines? What is the best model to get. Thanks guys.

I had problems with water also and I installed a separator. The brand is Marpaq and I bought it at Redmond Marine. Uses a 10 micron filter that looks like an oil filter.
