new fishing rigs

just bought 2 new fishing rigs, Pflueger president spinning combos, seem good for the $$. I have not bought new rod & reel combos in years, replaced my old rigs and started looking at line for my reels...HOLY $HIT!! I had no idea there were so many different choices out there. Ive done some research and it seems for me, (inshore trout , reds and an occasional freshwater trip co-polymer seems to be the best of both worlds between fluorocarbon & Mono. I'm thinking P-Line but am looking for some feedback....

This is the Gospel! use this on every rod i have besided my topwater rod. Run straight 17# Mono

Yep. Power Pro. I use super slick 8 on my spinning outfits and regular on my bait casters. Unless it's topwater rod then mono all the way. I been Using Segaur Senshi mono lately but really like the Trilene XL armor coated it floats better than a lot of other mono line.

Sunline or toray fluoro. Best line you will ever use except for topwater.

Berkley Nanofil 17# with fluro leader. Smooth as silk, casts further, and is more sensitive
