I have a bunch of real old shells that my grandma was cleaning out the closet from my grandpa. Are these safe to shoot? Look like they 30 years old or so.

If they were in a dry place and show no damage I would think so.

A few years back, I shot some shells that were almost 50 years old. No problems with any in the box.

I got a bunch of that stuff of my dads when he passed away. He had bought a bunch when the old Howard Bros. went out of business.

Just don't shoot em out a Beretta!

If they don't shoot just keep em in your blind bag to use instead of rocks for those retrievers brah:grinpimp:

No beretta here, but that's why I posted. I have one blown barrel too many right now. Not trying to have another one.

When steel first came out, shells getting wet was a big issue.
