Rough Day for Louisiana.....

Yesterday was a rough day for parts of Louisiana.

First issue I heard of was a shooting in Raceland, LA. Here is a link to the incident---http://www.kplctv.com/story/24311322/shooting-spree-leaves-4-dead-including-suspect

Second issue I heard of was after I got off work, there was a report of a young man taking a curve too fast on a rd in leesville,la and colliding with a tree where he was pronounced D.O.A

Third issue was a house fire at 1:00am this morning in Rosepine, LA

Day before (Christmas Day) a trailer fire in Houma with 12 people, 9 got out 3 kids passed away.

I saw that on the news. Absolutely terrible tragedy.


Also the shooting in Slidell on Christmas Eve IIRC.

That was Christmas night as well. 8 shot 2 dead after a rap concert.

Yeah and that was in Olde Towne Slidell. One that died was a target and one a bystander. Can't even get in - or watch - a bar fight in the suburbs anymore...

Thats my hometown, i frequented those local bars a lot when i was younger. I went a few months back to hang with some friends and the place was a sewerage hole. That whole city has went to the dump since Katrina. It was already filled with a bunch of white boy dream thugs, but now that NOLA has washed out its ridiculous. Kids doin heroin out there like its an everyday commodity.

It's a shame. At least they've released the name of a suspect now.

Stupid kids like that are why I don't even go out anymore. I'd rather stink up the old black pot on the porch and drink my own beer anyday over going hang out with the douches and pay $2.50-$3.00 for a damn beer.

Me too, much rather party it up with the neighbors or friends than go to a bar.
