Opinions needed on 21' Sailfish

Add says 2000 21' Sailfish for $16,000 Garmin GPS/map, VHF, bait well, wash down, porta potty, fresh water sink, electronics box. The boat was shed kept since new and motor has around 100 hours. Any info

Opinions please?

I'm not often tempted by fiberglass boats, but if you don't act fast, I might just buy this one out from under you.

Never owned or ridden in one. My understanding was the older were very well built and really nice boats. The newer ones had a bunch of cost cutting done and not nearly as well built. This would qualify as an older one.

Nice Boat

That's an OX66 Yamaha, They are beast motors. We had one on a work boat that had over 5,000 hours on it. I would knock him dow to 13.

Look on the hull truth, lots of informative guys over there.

Sold a 2001 18 sailfish recently and it was a great hull. Nothing fancy about it but it was solid. We bought the boat new and only issues we had with it was minor spider cracks.

I guess you plan on fishing offshore or in big bays mostly?

Thanks for the opinions.. We went look at the boat and it is a really good hull but its not really what we are looking for..
