Jack Britton, Richie Dietz, Russell Rodriguez, and Russ Rodriguez joined me today and experienced the best fishing trip of their live. Wow, how one day makes a difference. The bite started off slow early but then like a switch turning on became hot!! We had the trout coming in one after another fishing in 5 ft of water!!! And yes, Green Hornet Matrix Shad and Magneto colors did all the damage. In my opinion there is no better soft plastic than the Matrix Shad, it's proven. After #125 hit the K2 Cooler at 9:20ish we were off to battle the reds. We found them stacked in a small bayou holding in 2-3 ft of water, no GPS coordinates (sorry I fish for a living)!! The guys had them coming in one after another with multiple double hook ups. Once the tide quit falling the bite was over. We were back at the lodge cleaning fish around noon time. Good as it gets and great company. Thanks again guys and I look forward to your return!
