Mechanic recommendations Lafayette

Can anyone give me some good recommendations for mechanics in Lafayette? Vehicle is a 2007 Ford F-150

I have gone as far as I can with it. The check engine light came on a few months back and was coded as a misfire. Went to change the spark plug on that cylinder and the spark plug well was filled with engine oil. Cleaned it out and replaced spark plug ran fine for a few months until now. All the plug holes on the drivers side are full of oil. Pulled the valve cover off and changed the gasket thinking that may be the problem, but the valve covers are below the spark plug holes so it couldn't really be that. The area around the spark plug wells are all clean as can be so its not oil seeping into the holes from the top, has to be coming from elsewhere. Read where it could be valve seals or even piston rings. Just seems strange that its only on that one side? Thanks in advance

I like Zims on verot, always quick and honest. Never been surprised by them, and if they can't fix it I trust who they recommend. Prices are always in line.

I believe they specialize in fords. I have the same truck and had similar problems and other mechanics tried sell me a new engine. Brought it to Roland's and they found a spark plug that was loose. He said he took it out with his hand.

Thanks for the recommendations, I am going to try Roland's since its close to the house and get his opinion.

Its all 4 spark plug wells that are filled with oil on one side of the engine. Can't imagine 4 piston rings being bad on one side and none on the other:confused: Also if it was a head gasket, it would have coolant mixed in, but this is pure engine oil. I just don't know
