Well looking for taxidermist ! Took a trip to tx with a couple friends and knocked down a doozey ! I've been doing all of my skull mounting of my local deer myself, but need to wrap some hide and hair around this one !! Knocked him down Dec-13 (Friday13th)! He'd be an 11 pt, but busted both brow-tines fighting? Plenty mass, long tines, high racked. Can anyone recommend (hahaha) a good taxidermist ? I'm from the Kaplan/Gueydan area, and don't hold that against me !! :help:

Steve German in westlake may not be the cheapest around but does very good work.

They have a coule of guys in Lake Arthur.

Go to Gary Bell. Deep South wildlife studio on verot and fortune rd across from car wash. He's the best around this area. I hear German does great work if you wanna bring it on that end.

Steve and Gary are both great. Neither are cheap but if you want it done right so it will last a lifetime they are the way to go. Gary has done work for me. I also met Steve at a DU event and went see some Of his work.

Ricky reeves in moss bluff does great deer mounts.

Henry Barker does a good job. He is in lafayette.
