Hunting and Fishing Shows
So me and my boy were sitting around the other night watching some fishing shows. If you cant go fishing you may as well watch it right.lol. About halfway through the show I started wondering how wierd it must be to have to say a name brand in dang near every sentence. Its just crazy. Im sure they get used to it and dont even realize they are doing it. I bet the guys that have been around like Bill Dance/Hank Parker prolly do it even when there arent any cameras. Its just habit for them by now. Im gona have to spend a day doing that just to see how many people I can annoy.lol

Probably get paid every time they say the sponsors name. Yeah, that gets a bit annoying, some of those guys go over the top with it.
Someone needs to do a YouTube spoof! |
that would be classic

Theres plenty of people that do it already that aren't on fishing shows, its that "keeping up with the jones" mentality. Yea I use this such and such lure that is #1 lure out here with this #1 leader and this #1 reel etc...truth is the people that know the BEST lures most likely don't brag about it to their fishing buddies and what works best for some people doesn't work best for others....Look at how many Haynies are running around the lake now for instance.

fishing shows
28 minutes of advertising with 2% fishing thrown in to justify calling it a fishing show ! I'd rather read about it .

have you seen the " Florida Reel Time " show? It's pretty cool, he goes fishing every show with a forum member from a different part of fla. not as much sponsor talk and he's actually with a real member.

It is getting bad on the hunting shows. I can't even watch em anymore.
Bill Dance was one private pond fishing SOB as well, you would never ever see another boat in a Bill Dance bass fishing episode. And you also never saw a bass under 4 lbs:grinpimp: |
