Rhett, Cheryl, Samantha Boudreaux and Matt Miller joined me for a fun time down Dularge. Cold temps this morning but it warmed up nicely, a great day to be on the water. The reds were waiting for our Matrix Shad and bit all day long. No problem putting our 25 reds on ice. With the water temps getting up to 54 we turned our attention to the silver trout. We found one location with a handful of trout willing to bite. We kept grinding leaving no stones unturned, but the elusive trout refused to turn on and bite. After every option was exhausted we pointed the big Bluewave back to the lodge where the pelicans were ready to feast!! Every fish caught on Matrix Shad (green hornet, Tiger, and Pink Champage). Sure is nice to fish with one bait all day and not having to go through a entire pack of baits. Thanks again guys for a fun filled day of laughs.
