Timber Hunts

Hunted timber in the back of Sherbune Tuesday morning. Took a gator tail all the way to the back. It was quite an experience jumping trees in the boat to get back there. Shot a limit of mallards and a few teal and 1 woody.
Hunted this morning at my buddy's place in Columbia, LA. Limit in 45 minutes. 3 man limit of mallards 2 teal and a few greys. Could have shot 30 mallards. Got a banded greenhead. Was banded in Saskatchewan. Attachment 62296 Attachment 62297Attachment 62298 |
That's a awesome string of hunts. I'm already having withdrawals snd our season just closed last weekend.

I'm hooked on this crap now. Got all geared up and hunting ducks tomorrow and Saturday. Seeing the ducks cup up over the timber was cooler than watching a deer slip the woods. I'll post a report Sunday.
