Coyotes on fenceposts

I ran across twelve Coyotes strung up to fence posts (two not pictured) in Carlyss on Glover Road today (3/8/14). I'm not sure if Coyotes will now avoid this area but if I were a Coyote I surely would.

Best,

I wasn't sure if it was that or if they just liked "hanging out". :)

Marsh Life sent me a pic yesterday of the same thing. He called them fuzzy wind chimes. When I asked if he thought it worked he said, "judging by the number I would guess not."

I use dead coyotes for coyote bait. They will eat there own.

I've always heard the idea behind that is that they would stay out, but if they will learn to avoid traps on a certain property instead of leaving it, I don't see why this would stop them.

Old Timers say it keeps other Coyotes away....

Back home, hunters would hang them and, catfish heads on posts all the time. I guess, to some, it's some sort of bragging rights.??
