any one been to this lake? it's around port barre. lookin for how to get there, what kind of launch and what kind of boat can get in there. any help would be appreciated.

used to murder the sacs there, but that was before Katrina. I don't know if it ever truly recovered. Every now and then we hear of someone who caught pretty good, but its pretty rare. The launch is pretty shallow, but we've never had any problems backing in. You can probably put anything in there, but we always went in a little bass tracker style boat. I wouldn't put a bay boat in there or anything, even though you could probably get on in there. Not hard to find, you can see it from 190. I'm not familiar with the road names, so I'll just say look on google earth. Its not hard to figure out.
