March 14th and Catholics.... HELP
 
So what are we supposed to do.... Eat the steak anyways, substitute it, or postpone it a day? :confused: I already had tonights meal planned, but Shrimp and Egg Stew and BJ Day just doesn't sound right.... I need some ideas here fellas.

you don't hafta go seafood, last week we did mashed taters smothered in buter and cheese then fried corn fritters and green beans and garlic bread.

The 14th this year fell on a Friday during lent. Catholics are supposed to not eat meat in Fridays during lent.

What is the significance of the date March 14th? I knew about the Friday/meat thing just dont know why that specific day is of importance. Im not trying to sound condecending. I dont know and would like to.
