Started out with an early morning customer meeting in ST. James, LA then moved to a delicious lunch at Leeville Seafood Resturant down da biya!
After lunch we visited another customer site in Fourchon, LA. It has been years since Sexy & I have been down da biya! We were able to visit with sum of my long time customers during our trip today! It was good catching up with them again & reminiscing of the good ole days! Once my customer meetings were over Sexy & I ventured down to Grand Isle to check out the scenery! Attachment 65954 Attachment 65951 Sexy enjoying the beach! The beach homes & cabins looked great as there were lots of new construction as well as remodeling. The beach & water was very clean but the wind was kicking pretty good! Attachment 65953 We came across what we seem to think is a Deep Water Horizon memorial as there were several white crosses in the beach levee. As we were heading into Leeville on our way home we ran into the push of cold air. The wind speed increased tremendously & it began to hail. Sexy was so terrified we were almost at a complete stop on the Tollway! I spotted a couple water spouts at a distance but the hail was quiet scarey as it was coming down very hard! Attachment 65955 I was able to get a pic of the whitecaps caused by the wind. Attachment 65956 Then we cross the frontline & we have beautiful sunshine in Golden Meadow, LA! Gotta LOVE this crazy LA weather! Our only regret is we didn't have a fishin pole or ice chest with us to bring home some of the great south LA fresh seafood! This weather was really messed up today. Changed almost as much as our women change their minds.lol Its been a busy evening for me too ma brudda ;) |
