Our daughter's family recently had some baby Wood Ducks jump from their nest box.

Thanks for your nice words Bluechip and Ratdog. Many lessons were learned from this experience. Mother Nature has her ways that we don't always understand.

As a result of this experience our daughter and her family are ordering some Mallard eggs to hatch in an incubator and raise. :)
