Catching up on reports from past few days.
4/9/14..It was a very good day on the DU with Perry Pellegrin with Shell. Capts Gerald & Josh Ellender helped out with the 3 boat trip with everyone getting in on the action. We worked over the Lake Mechant area catching fish in the lakes and adjacent bayous north of the lake. The trout were pretty easy to locate on the falling tide along with some good reds and a few flounder. No full limits by anyone as each boat averaged 50-60 fish. Everyone had a great time catching reds and trout on various soft plastics and swim baits. These guys were a blast to fish with everyone catching their share of fish. Good luck fishing!
