A friend sent this, hope this is what we have for the extensive snapper run.

We went Saturday left the dock about 5:30 am run out about 15 mile then it started getting rough run slow to platform about 50 miles out stopped at a couple platforms started getting slick about 1 pm run about 80 miles out really nice weather could have loaded the boat with huge snapper water was slick all the way back in had fun found some good spots got back to Cameron ferry launch about 8:15 pm

Went out of Fourchon yesterday and gulf was slick. We were deep dropping and caught our grouper then ran back north for a limit of snapper. Grouper on every rig in 400 plus foot of water. Snapper are so thick its hard to get a bait down!!!!

Kdm, how close where the snapper out there?

they are within 3 miles and up to the 10.357 miles. They are everywhere!!!
