Beware lithium batteries and a truck dashboard
 

Found this on another forum.
Looks like a good lesson to learn. I would bet this also applies to
Cell phones, tablets, digital cameras, and other devices that use lithium
batteries. You think this may be a reason why the US Postal Service will not ship
electronic devices that contain lithium batteries any longer?
GPS was placed in its bracket in the windshield and left in the sun.
The battery overheated and exploded!

Dang..... Why would he have a GPS in his truck when he has a Nav system? That WAS a nice truck.

Because it's a Chevy/GMC and he's scared his won't work:smokin::D

I wonder if he ran the new lithium batteries in his boat. It caught fire last night

Dayum that was bad. Years ago Dell computers were known to catch on fire due to faulty batteries.
