Did they ever figure out what exactly caused it? Last I heard it was still under investigation.

Damn. I'm sure his sponsor will put him in a new one.

PaulMyers 05-16-2014 06:11 AM

My guess would be his battery charger.

rustyb 05-16-2014 06:12 AM

X2

Yup I see a burned up battery charger and have seen that before. Those generic battery chargers overcook the battery and Boom goes the dynamite.

Power pole still looks great.

A little compound and paint should fix that.

Boat Destroyed

Dayum my father in law just gave me a Power Pole hat yesterday he autographed in Toledo on Elite Series. I don't keep up with bass fishing much.

papap 05-16-2014 02:03 PM

You would think he would of had on board charge.

jchief 05-16-2014 05:54 PM

Not sure if charger issue or battery issue. Just from looking at pic looks to have started on starboard rear. Battery probably blew.

eman 05-16-2014 06:12 PM

Send it to Corey! He can fix anything.
