Cocodrie specks!!
 

Well went down I Cocodrie with my wife's family from Friday night to today(Sunday). Saturday I fished out of my kayak and found a few hungry fish. I dropped in on the west side of Hwy 56 and fished the south end of Lake Boudreaux. Caught 5 trout(three keepers) and 2 reds(one keeper). Everything wanted TW and that was it. The water was so clear I could see 4 feet down. Fished from 8-11 Saturday and that was it.

This morning we went out to face a stuff south wind. We went as far south as we could to find clean water. Found a small island and caught a few fish there. Around 10 the wind completely died down so we head farther south to some close pilings and the trout were there. They wanted everything we threw at them from plastics to live bait. We ended the day around 1230 with 55 trout to clean. All in all a great day to a great weekend.
