Safety toe boots?

Its time for me to get a new pair of safety toe boots. It's been a long time since I've gotten a new pair so I'm out of the loop. Prefer a pair of cowboy style boots, but definitely looking for something comfortable. Also, looking to buy them around Lake Charles. Any help on brand, style, and place to buy is appreciated.

Got em at boot barn, they are Double H brand. Very comfortable, never needed to be broken in.

I have the Double H and really like them as well.

I'm on my second or third pair of Ariats. I've had good luck with them. I get them at Cotton's.

if youre under 50, buy square toes. Ariat makes some good ones and twisted x makes the most comfortable ones. the square toe even gives you more room and it is what people wear now.

Twisted X is the way to go!

BuckingFastard 05-21-2014 07:13 AM

twisted x are comfortable. ive had 4 pairs and they last 1 year. the heel is so soft that it wears out, but thats also why they are actually comfy. theyre worth the money in the comfort for sure.

Twisted X!

Justin Square toe! Cant go wrong.. had these for 3 years now... still comfortable

BuckingFastard 05-21-2014 08:04 AM

oh yea, i forgot im wearing justins right now... they were very uncomfortable for a few mths but now the insole has broke in and they feel good. plus theyre a lot lighter and cheaper that twisted x

Bought a pair of RedWings at Academy that are cowboy style and look good. RedWings always lasted the longest for me.

I've worn red wings, ariats, and twisted x, but Timberland lace ups have been the most comfortable for me.

BassYakR 05-21-2014 08:51 AM

yeah ive had timberland lace ups also... they were the most comfortable! but I prefer the ease of slip ons... ill continue to buy Justins. 99 bux and last longer than twisted x...

wed68 05-21-2014 08:58 AM

I know its not the style your looking for but if you appreciate your feet, Timberland TITAN pro in a 6 inch lace up is by far the best boot I have ever worn.

Quackhead62 05-21-2014 09:00 AM

I've had really bad luck with twisted x work boots they don't last six months for me. Just bought the first pair of double H and they are very comfortable and seem like they will hold up good.

I'm on my 3rd pair over many years. Very comfortable and get a lot of wear out of them as a farmer .

Twisted X are good if you sit on your arse all day. They didn't last me 6 months on the shop and the sole blew out. Justins for the win!

Msucowpoke51 05-21-2014 10:34 AM

I also wear the timberland lace ups .. I had a pair of Justin's and loved them, they were the stampede edition

I have tried and don't like twisted x, and doc marten

duckman1911 05-21-2014 10:52 AM

I've had a pair of Justin square toes for about four months now and really like them. Although what is comfy for one person may not be for someone else.
