How do you fish your cocohoes?
Hey guys,
I have fished plastic cocohoes for years and have always used a slow straight retrieve but have been seeing some guys on TV fishing shows fishing the by letting them drop to the bottom then snapping them off of the bottom. A lot like we use to fish Little Georges while bass fishing. I am doing a poll to see how most people fish them. Please vote and also tell my why you fish them the way you do. Thanks for participating. Charlie |
I fish them by dragging bottom, then popping them up. Obviously the cadence and everything changes depending on the fish.
Very seldom do I just drag it slowly. |
all depends on season . winter is slow drag on bottom. rest of year, Warmer it gets more snap it gets

When the water is cold and they are deep I cast and let them sit and drag them very slow. Sometimes it is hard to know you have a bite. During warmer weather I pop them off of the bottom reeling low. Then sometimes I will fish them under a cork. A cocohoe has to be the most versatile bait there is. What ever it takes to get a bite is what I do. It is crazy what they will want from day to day
