Need info about the Mississippi River

Hi,
My partner and I are planning a trip to the Venice area in late summer or early fall and it appears the best time, for red fish, is when the Mississippi river gets to around 3' to 5' at the New Orleans gauge. What I need to know is where can I find that river gauge level. I have searched the internet but have had no luck.

Thank in advance for any help you can offer.

Charlie
