Productive first trips in new yak
2 Attachment(s)
Bought myself a kayak recently and finally had time to take it out on the water this past Friday and Sunday. Friday I went in the pond at my parents house just to get a feel for everything, ok it was mostly so that I had a short swim back to shore if I flipped! I caught a couple bream but only 1 keeper. That was enough to get me hooked! Sunday I went for a lil stroll and was able to pick up a 22" red on live mullet. It pulled me and the anchor a little bit before I was able to get him in the boat, which reminds me that I need to get a damn net! All in all, it was great times on the water and I can't wait to get out there again!
