Worms

I never actually saw fish that had "worms". Does anyone have pictures of what they look like or can describe them to me and can you just cut them out or throw the wholefish away?

If your talking about speckled trout don't worry about the worms, they are harmless. Eat em!!!

Hot grease kills them

the only worms I am familiar with in fish are white and look like spaghetti, they are usually in little pockets mainly in the tails and when cleaning fillet fish you can lift them with the tip of your knife and grab them to gently pull and they come right out. these white worms are harmless to you and the fish are safe to eat.

if you miss anything they are 98% water and will completely dissolve in hot grease so you are never eating them or anything. you fibnd them in all fish and if you ever found empty pockets in your perch or crappie cooked on the bone, that's where the worms "used to be" before cooking

look on youtube and they show some kind of red worm in fish and that's harder to find and more of a true worm and if I found those in my fish I don't think I would eat it
