Stolen Guns - Jeff Davis
 

Good Morning Guys - Last night I was part of an operation in Jennings where we recovered several guns in a drug raid, along with tons of stolen items. We are 99.999999% sure the guns are stolen, because neither of the party are to have any guns, and 6 were still wrapped in a blanket in the bed of a truck when we hit the house.

None of the guns are coming back stolen in the national data base, so I suspect (A)- people don't know their guns are stolen or (B)- they did not have the S/N's to list them.

If you or family/friends have had any guns stoled recently, please contact the Jennings Police Department at 337-821-5513 and ask for detectives.

Most were in poor, to fair shape. Several of the guns looked as if they were old camp guns that haven't seen the oil can in a while.

Sir, if it was up to me we would have been finished with them last night!! - We had no name on this guy, only a tip. Made a buy, got a warrant and hit the place. Busted into a heII hole. Gang banger from Houston, been on the run from Harris County for a year. Had a Glock 26 with extended mag that he was trying to get to. Had body armor and all!

Right there in little ole' Jennings - our people in Washington better wake up. The border wars are no longer on the border!!

no 1911 - but he did have a Gangsta Tec 9 LOL.

Glad nobody got hurt and good thing yall moved fast or it coulda been different. jennings seems like quite the place in the last few years......

I agree. And our law enforcement is under compensated, under manned and under equipped.

Great work keep the pressure on em . They will get tired of the hassle and hopefully move on. If it gets slow on the south side I think there are a few on airport rd .
