Catching at Rockefeller

Anyone have decent reports from there? Goin next Friday if the weather permits for crabs and will try fishing if it's worth the time. When do the specks usually move in?

My wife and I went to the Rock Friday, caught 2 reds, 1 keeper trout and a flounder in the Bertrand canal. Threw back several dink trout as well. Spoke to a guy at the launch, they caught a bunch of crabs, didn't say where though. All caught on VUDU shrimp.

Bad fish kill. Happening right now. Crabs are dying and fish.
Buddy limited out Thursday I fished the same spot and nothing but dead minnows. Not even action by gar fish.
That was satutday

must be from all that sargassum dying?

Bad fish kill at the west cove launch today too. likely due to the over abundance of juvenile menhaden. Not alot of sargassum there.

Is it just me or is there more juvenile menhaden than usual? They are everywhere.
