Water at the beach?

I've been wanting to hit the surf for specks west of holly beach. I noticed the wind was light SE and has been SE to SW mostly. Has anybody been fishing and how is the water? I don't much like making that long drive to find see daylight over a chocolate milk beach. Thanks for any and all info.

Conditions look decent. Maybe BuckingFastard can hook us up with a pic.

Lots of seaweed in the lake today. Water was decent though. Wind picked up late today.

How'd yall do in the lake? Im getting a little tired of fighting the crowds on the weekend at the lake and I do love to catch em in the surf.

We caught about 20 with 10 being good keepers. Lost quite a few fish on topwater.
