Venice

Leaving Tuesday morning heading to Venice for trout and tuna. Bring my bay boat for the trout, it's the first time I will be fishing for trout down there and any help will be appreciated. Also does anyone know the bouy station for down there or does anyone know what to look up to find out the tides for next week? Thanks in advance.

Hope to do the same thing in August.

I fish the area all the time for trout but I do not recommend a first timer going alone, just too many hazards, but I have been doing real well in the Empire area which is a few miles up the road,if you can make it to the empire jetties fish them and the flats just on the inside of them, the delta marina is the easiest place to reach them,as for tides use the La sportsman tide guides/empire jetties, this time of year you want the incoming in the morning, ill be there next sun and mon. I have a new computer and cannot figure out how to get pictures from my camera to the computer to Salty Cajun, thats why I have not posted my reports lately.Good luck and if I can help more hit me up.

Perfect thank you! I think we will be leaving out of Venice marina... I'll PM you when I get back to my desk top. And I can ask you some more questions. But thank you. Much appreciated!
