Blue Mesa CO
 

Has anyone ever fished Blue Mesa in Colorado? If so I need some input on some guides. We are going Elk hunting in September and gonna hit the Mesa one day when we are up there. Thanks in advance!

We used to fish Blue Mesa. It's awesome fishing and beautiful. We had our own 16' aluminum boat and fished for trout mostly but managed a few kokanee salmon also. We never hired a guide, but we followed their online fishing reports to inform our efforts. We've found the online fishing reports to be accurate, and I often thought if we hired a guide it would be one of these guys:
