Calcasieu/ West fork

Fished Friday morning on the west fork just south of the moss bluff bridge. the water was dark, cuts were flowing I think because of all the rain we got. only caught one perch on a plastic worm. threw a repala and a soft plastic worm and a little fly fishing....didn't do good at all a few swoops on the fly by some bream. Lots of gar. Did see some guys catch one under the bridge on a yellow fluke.

going this afternoon up around hall brook park, hopefully less boats and the water may be calmer. I'll post how I did, though I never really did any good up that way, but thats just me, it's just too "bassy" looking to not try. Any body ever do any good up that way?

Holbrook was a bust only bream. Kind of muddy and some silt on the water.
