WTB Yamaha Semicleaver 16 P
I am looking for a true Painted Yamaha Semicleaver 16 P no copies. Does anyone have one for sale or know who has the best price on new ones?

They are currently out of production. Should be a new batch of them shipped to the US in late August. Good luck finding someone's old stock. There was a big run on those just before the arkansas duckboat races:)

its the style (of the blade shape I think)
from what I have seen (just shopped for one) most are shown to be the "g" letter for "general purpose" so you might want to be sure of what the difference is before you buy, it might be different cupping or rake to it.
im just going to use my aluminum prop until the back order comes in, its just 4 weeks to wait so I don't mind seeing as how I have a prop I can use until then

The 13" diameter Yamaha props are not for 13 spline shafts. Too big for the 40/50 motors.

You are correct I bought a new Yamaha F70 and I borrowed a 13x15 Powertech Semicleaver and it ran good but I was hitting the limiter at 6300. I think a 16 will work.

My mistake, I thought you were looking for the 13 spline version. They seem to be very popular.

Cajun do you have any Experience with the Powertech SCD 4 Blade? I purchased a 3 Blade true Yamaha Semicleaver now I am interested in a 4 Blade for a Back up .

The PowerTech SCB is an imitation of the Yamaha semi cleaver. It usually run 2-3 mph slower than the Yamaha because the blades are so thick. Yamaha uses excellent stainless steel, they can make thinner blades that hold up better than folks using inferior stainless. I have a Yamaha prop that is over 20 years old still going strong.
