minn kota repair ?
55lb salt water.stops and goes on high speed as it's running.DHP did warranty work on 3 different times.Now I have to pay to fix the same problem.
( all in a 4 month span).Who would y'all suggest? I feel they put bandaids till warranty ran out. ( should I notify minn kota of poor warranty work by this co.) |
I've only dealt with DHP one time. But, I don't believe they put Band-Aids. Would I contact Minn Kota? You better believe. But I believe you'd be better served talking with DHP and possibly have them either contact them for you or in conjunction with you and try and have the entire unit replaced.

I went to R1 bass in Beaumont. Nice guy and got it taken care of for me. Communication was a little rough, and it took a few weeks longer than I was expecting, but he was able to do it all under warranty, where DHP wanted to charge $350.

Go to DHP and calmly talk with Damon, give him a chance to work WITH you. I have not found Damon to be a bad guy at all. D |
