What fuel stabilizer are you guys using for the gas in your boat? Mines will be sitting for a little while.

It is advised to put the additive in before you let it setup, not after. :D

I've always used stabil with ethanol treatment. The blue one

Gerald 07-20-2014 10:46 PM

Be sure to run the engine for a while AFTER you put the treatment in so that the fuel in the engine will be treated.

Blue stabil is supposed to be better than the red colored Stabil for boats

When mine sits up, i just disconnect the fuel fitting on the end of the hose and drop the hose down into a gas can and drain my tank. Use the gas for my mower or dump it in my truck.
