Next time go Yamaha!

Jadams 07-24-2014 03:29 AM

Then I'd have a 1 yr commercial warranty and would have already blown it up the only motor I wouldn't tear up is a honda

Once u go black u don't go back! W my pro staff I can buy 2 Merc for the price of Yamaha and when Yamaha tells a guide they only warranty a yr it means they already know it's gonna blow lol

how many Honda do you see on the water? I have seen one and I rode in the boat that had it.... Not a saltwater motor and I would never suggest that on any boat...

Great 4wheeler but not a motor for fishing

Yammys are good motors but they only give a guide a 1yr warranty

BuckingFastard 07-24-2014 08:26 AM

yea i cant believe yami does that... they charge enough for a motor to hold a 10 yr warranty on them. yea hondas are scarce, wasnt sure if it was sarcasm. great for the farm.

Hondas are good motors, just slow

Jadams 07-24-2014 01:27 PM

I think every coast guard boat I've seen has honda's on them.

Except for the ones that dont

Suzuki is producing a good engine. I'm running one and have been very pleased with it.

Merc has a one yr commercial warranty too, dealership must know how to do paperwork I think it's bulls hit that a warranty is different for commercial especially fishing guide. We had merc deny a wildlife and fisheries boat today because of that reason.

Jadams 07-24-2014 06:35 PM

Only prob w Suzuki is thermostats plug in em if u run em hard in mud that's the only ones I've heard blow up other than that they good but I can get 2 mercs for price of one zuki
