Nathan's good friend Al Rangai also joined us. We were greeted with choppy seas and windier conditions than expected this morning. We still found clean water and plenty fish, except they were all small fish. We must have caught close to if not 100 trout, but only 8 made the cut. Double rigged Matrix Shad as always produced all of our fish. After multiple stops we decided Plan B needed to be put into action!! As soon as we arrived to the red fish battle grounds it didn't take long at all for my crew to double up!!! It was fish on, as the rods were bent and reels were screaming. Doesn't take long to ice down a limit of reds when they are hungry!! With the K2 stuffed and the guys arms wore out, we headed back to the lodge to clean fish. Another great day with great company. Thanks again guys. Capt. Marty LaCoste 985-856-4477 www.absolutefishingcharters.com |
