sept. around the corner
 

Time for the fall garden around the corner. Cubed turnip , mustard greens , spinach , turnip greens all chopped and cooked down with smoked pork just like granny cooked with a tad of cayenne. Actually she put a lil more than a tad of cayenne and on a cold winter day it hit the spot. Don't forget the cook cabbage and anduille.

Didn't do cabbage last fall but the fall before that I didn't have good luck with it. Gona try again this fall. Mustard greens is a must have. Mustard greens, corn bread, and squirrel sauce piquant. Throw in a Saints game too :)

Dang duck you just had to go mention squirrel......Thats not till oct.......Man to be young again and get'm in sept.........

Can't wait! Just went to NY and felt the chill of fall and am counting the days
