bay_slayer 11-30-2009 05:47 PM

cool, a survey guy! We are loading up supplies right now (drill mud, gel, drill string, fuel, and water) and getting ready to bring it to the Discoverer Deep Seas. Its about a 14 hour ride out there.

So what are some of the names of the guys working for Oceaneering?

I dont work onboard all the time . I move from job to job but it is always nice working for Shell they take care of me pretty good

Pao De Acucar means Sugar Loaf (or sweet bread)..............its named after a mountain in Brazil (MT. Sugar Loaf in english). Its the famous mountain that has that big statue of Jesus on it. Petrobras has a lease on the boat so they go to name it.

Its pronounced Pao De Asuca

Bulleye 12-01-2009 07:38 PM

Not on the Laney .. Hey did you make it home today ? The weather sucks we are running through some 15-20' seas so ask me if I'm dizzy---- (Roger on that)

Ray 12-01-2009 10:14 PM

Yep, worked all night, got 2 hours sleep, then jumped on a chopper for an hour, then 5 hr. drive home, in the rain.
Trying to stay up as long as I can so I can swap back to a daytime life.

This place is addictive ain't it???

Bulleye 12-01-2009 11:30 PM

The weather today in a chopper . I'd still be trying to pull my @!# of the seat (LOL) .
Well glad you made it back safe..

downsouth 12-02-2009 12:09 AM
