Pitchers Mound
4 Attachment(s)
My buddy Cripley gave me a call the other day complaining about he wanted to buy his son a pitchers mound for his 15th birthday but they were $700-$2000. I told him I thought it would be pretty easy to build so I did some research to told him what to buy. He brought over the materials and 2 hours later we have a regulation height pitchers mound for $145! Attachment 74142Attachment 74143Attachment 74144Attachment 74145

That's awesome. If you don't mind, where did you get the specs for the mound. I have a cousin that would probably be interested in building one.

Of course I don't mind. I used the link below and he said he didn't know what to cover it with so I just read on some other sites to use 3M high strength glue (contact cement or two part epoxy would work as well) with the turf.
Really was very simple. http://coachchaz.blogspot.com/2010/0...mound-for.html |
They have one very similar to this that comes in two pieces and is portable. I think I paid $200 for mine delivered.
