What color and kind of Corky best for Big Lake?
 
Guys a friend is going to pick me up a few corky's. What kind fat boy, devil, etc and color work best on big lake?

He tells me the color preference is ALL you. The fish don't care what color it is.
When you think you are retrieving it slow enough........cut it in half.
I like the Fat Boys....floaters and sinkers.

heat...the colors i think would be based on the conditions of the water...

I like to use the more natural colors (such as the pearl with black back) in clear water, and the brighter colors (Like the Chartreuse Gold or Day Glow) for stained water. However, this time of the year you usually just have to take whatever he has.

not always true, i like to keep the rod at about 10 oclock and walk the dog with it, keep the reel handle moving slow at all times, then pause every 3-5 twitches, they will take it on the pause a lot. other times, if you aren't getting hung on the bottom, you aren't getting bit.
